Automarshal software has been implemented at one of the Martin’s Hotels establishments located at the pedestrian center of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium. Louvain-la-Neuve is the home to Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) which has become social, cultural, commercial and technological center in the region. Louvain-la-Neuve is also closely located to such cities in Belgium as Wavre, Waterloo, Leuven, Namur and Brussels. Overall, the hotel has 108 guest rooms and happily accommodates the people who are on the business, academic and leisure trips.
To meet the needs for the hotel vehicle access automation, Automarshal with four recognition channels has been installed at the facility. The software provides the access to the hotel parking for the guests and staff by checking the recognised vehicle number plates against the access lists created by the facility administrator. When the vehicle that is on the list approaches the hotel parking access point, Automarshal issues a signal to open a vehicle speedgate. In total, the system provides an automated control for six of these access points.
